On March 4th, Nancy Ajram headed to the Cairo Opera House to kick off the Cairo International Film Festival for Children.
As Nancy tried to go in, her fans pushed and shoved to see her and thus she was trapped in the middle of hoards of fans! To solve the jam, her bodyguards, which were about 20, resorted to physical violence against the fans and so did the Opera House security guards!
The opening ceremony saw performances from Nancy Ajram, who sang some of her most famous children songs.
During the ceremony, a number of actors were honored like Mohammed Hinedi, Yahia Al Fakharani, Ashraf Abdel Baqi and of coarse, Nancy Ajram!
What do you think of the body guards and the way they handled the situation?
Would there have been a better way of dispersing the fans, other than hitting them?!

The famous Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram finished recording a new solo single called “Wahshani Ya Masr Moot” (Egypt I Miss You Like Crazy). Nancy is also getting ready to start filming a video clip for her new solo single and the filming will take place in the streets of Cairo. The clip will be sponsored by the soda drink company that Nancy is scheduled to make promotions for.
The new song “Wahshani Ya Masr” is written by Muhammad Oof, composed by Mustafa Shawqi and distributed by Rafiq Akef. The soda drink company is trying to choose the most appropriate director to direct the clip for the new song.
It is needless to say that “Wahshani Ya Masr” is the third solo single for Nancy in the year 2010. Nancy already released the song “Emta Ashofak” (When Will I See You) and “Salimoli Aleeh” (Tell Him I Said Hello). Nancy had also decided to film video clips for her two new solo singles.
