Cairo International Festival of Cinema for Children 20 to honor Nancy Ajram Polish film is based and the participation of 359 films, not including the Arab film

Displays the Polish film «The Bewitched Tree» the opening ceremony of the Cairo International Festival of Cinema for Children in the fourth of March, which will be honored during which Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, as the head of the festival, Fawzi Fahmi yesterday.

Fahmi said that «the opening film, by director Andrei Malesca, recipient of awards most notably the task of the Child Rights Award from the Chicago International Festival last year, and also the best design award of the Polish Film Festival in the same year».
The film in the form of fictional drama about the three children discover the magic oak tree and use the seats made of wood of this tree, which has the same magical property to prevent the migration of their parents leaving them with an aunt.
Previously directed the submission of the «magic tree» in the form of workshops and a television program for children, got his prize ‘Amy’ as the best program of international children and youth, in addition to receiving several awards from various international festivals, including the New York Festival and other Festival Cairo.

Fahmi said: «The opening ceremony will honor the Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, as the Ambassador of the United Nations Goodwill».

The festival honors the artists, potter and Yahya Abdul Rahman Abu Zahra, Samira Abdul Aziz and improved conciliation and Ashraf Abdul Baki, Afaf Rady, Ahmed Nabil, Talaat Attia, Mohamed Tharwat, Mohamed Shawky Hegab Henedy.
And participate in the twentieth session of the 52 countries represented by the festival 359 films and a program pursuant to an innovative and different, including 18 feature films and shorts, ten of which are involved in the official competition of the festival, including any film is not Arab.
